Karana exudes all the hallmarks of a GB combining robust construction, with elegant finishing, in a renown sea kindly hull. Wide safe walk around decks, give access to the side doors, or up to the flybridge.
Teak decks in great condition,
This is the preferred two stateroom down galley layout with generous owner’s cabin aft, and guest cabin forward, each with their own private heads and shower.
This popular layout gives all on board necessary privacy, where the salon and galley areas are midships, maximizing space and comfort, and perfectly set up for entertaining or lounging.
The accommodations are in two generous cabins - one aft for owners and one forward for kids or guests.
Master Cabin Aft
Master Head
To port in the master cabin is the private ensuite head, with Corian counter top, undermount sink, and plenty of storage in teak trimmed cabinetry.
Opposite, to starboard, is the separate shower stall with shelves, locker, stainless steel towel bars, and teak floor grate.
Guest Cabin Forward
Guest Head
Vacuflush fresh water marine toilet
Corian counter with under mount sink
Shower with teak grate and dedicated sump
Custom storage cabinets
Opening porthole and overhead hatch with screen and privacy shade
Step into the salon through either the port or starboard doors. True to all GBs, the space is rich in teak, and bright as ever, with large opening windows all around, positioned to allow superb natural light, fresh air, and unobstructed vistas for all on board, whether seating or standing.
The galley is forward of the salon, down four steps, and it is bright with natural light, and is open to the salon via the companionway and breakfast bar.
It is U-shaped, and packed with all the amenities needed for stowing provisions, and for creating memorable meals.
The galley is the full beam of the yacht with the working area to port, and the pantry / laundry area to starboard, with extra refrigeration.
The lower helm is integrated to the salon, and is located forward and to starboard, with direct access to the side decks.
The flybridge and upper helm is expansive, and is accessed via steps from the port side deck.
The flybridge is also teak clad. The forward half is fully enclosed, nd the aft portion is covered by a connecting bimini.
Fore and aft facing benches are forwards, with the upper helm to starboard. Karana also has the optional L-shaped settee aft of these benches. It surrounds a teak table, and is offset to starboard, with room to port for additional seating or a BBQ or cruising toys.
More storage in a large area under to forward cowl.
Upper Helm
Canvas
Karana is powered by twin John Deere 6081 375 hp diesel engines. These industrial grade engines are renown for durability, quiet operation, and high torque, and they are perfectly suited to this application.
