Sirena is a two cabin / two head yacht designed and ready for extended cruising. She is a robust and capable trawler with grace and brawn.
The Selene 36 is a quality-built coastal trawler with an admirable blend of comfort and ruggedness. With her graceful sheer and distinctive reverse-raked front windows, this small trawler has long been viewed as one of the most compelling boats in this class.
The interior volume is impressive in its galley-up layout with two comfortably sized cabins, two heads, and a roomy salon with the galley to port and an L-shaped sofa opposite. The full-beam master stateroom includes two hanging lockers, separate head and shower compartments, and an engine room access door.
The Selene 36’s full walk-around decks and sturdy handrails make this a safe boat to get around.
She is finished in teak throughout with impressive storage in every conceivable area.
Board from the swim platform up steps to the aft deck and side decks. Enter the boat through port or starboard doors from the side decks.
The salon, galley and lower helm are together in this space but the design allows each area its own distinction.
Down steps forward to the guest cabin with private ensuite head.
Down steps aft to the owners cabin also with private ensuite head and shower stall.
Guest Cabin Forward
The forward private guest cabin has a generous V-berth configured as two single berths, or with the insert, a very large double berth.
Guest Head Forward
The guest head is private to the cabin and is folded fibreglass for easy cleaning. The shower is integrated and there is a dedicated sump and pump beneath the teak grated floor.
Owners Cabin Aft
The owners cabin is aft and is full beam providing a huge space for a 36-foot yacht. The centre piece is the walk-around queen size berth with side tables, a bank of storage drawers on both port and starboard, and hanging lockers. Lots of natural light through an opening hatch and two opening side windows.
Owner’s Head Aft
The private head to the owners cabin is in two parts with the head and basin to port, and the large shower stall in a separate compartment to starboard.
The salon is bright and open with an L-settee to starboard, an expandable dining table on a pedestal with storage under, book shelves, and storage under the settee
The galley is part of the salon and runs the length of the port side with a long Corian counter top ample for prepping.
Visibility from the helm is excellent. The lower helm has a double bench with a lifting bolster for comfortable standing or sitting at the helm. The side door to starboard is perfectly situated for safe access to the side and foredecks, and for visibility while docking. All engine and instrument controls are readily at hand.
The flybridge is access by gently sloping steps up from the aft deck. There is an L-shaped settee to port with a table, space is

AC and DC power services the vessel through circuit breaker panels with appropriate voltage and ampere gauges. 110VAC provided by 30 Amp shore connection, by the genset and, based on available house bank battery power, through the inverter.
At sea, the batteries are charged by engine or generator driven alternators and while at a dock, by the inverters and chargers via shorepower.
The engine room is surprisingly spacious with access via a ladder down a hatch in the salon, or through a water tight door in the owner's shower.
