Product Development is complete on the newest addition to the Nordic Tugs fleet: The NT 40’. Hull #1 is in final assembly, scheduled to complete by the end of March. It will then go to its new home in Connecticut. The next three hulls are in various stages of production and are eagerly anticipated by their owners in time to enjoy time on the water this season.

While an evolution of the iconic NT39, the NT40 is distinguished by a number of innovations and improvements that are sure to set a new standard. Among these are the following features:

• Enlarged Cockpit with transom and starboard boarding doors
• Staircase to the upper deck
• 2-panel sliding door to the salon/galley, integrating the salon with the cockpit
• Larger Swim Platform
• Larger cockpit hatch to easier access to the lazarette
• Widened side trails with drains and curbs for better drainage and access
• Extended foredeck for greater master cabin headroom and enlarged sundeck
• Re-designed anchor management deck with split anchor locker and storage; includes drain bosses to direct mud, sand and water overboard
• New Salon and Galley layout
• Softened chines reduce wave slap while anchored or moored
